The MST 542 backhoe loader is designed to provide the backhoe and loader performance required. It is specialised to provide maximum performance in heavy duty and difficult conditions. MST 542 promises to provide a tailor-made solution with its small front wheel design.
Engine:
The MST 542 is powered by a PERKINS 1104C-44T engine, a water-cooled diesel with 4 cycles, 4 cylinders, turbocharger, and intercooler. Generating 74.5 kW / 99 HP at 2200 rpm and a torque of 408 Nm at 1400 rpm, it meets Stage II (Tier 2) emission standards, complying with EU Stage II and U.S EPA Tier 2 regulations.
Transmission:
Its Heavy-Duty Auto Powershift Transmission (TLB2 CD) features 4 forward and 4 reverse gears, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 40 km/h. With a 2.64/1 Stall Ratio converter and transmission lubricant cooling, it ensures smooth operation and efficiency.
Axles:
Equipped with Heavy-Duty Service Type CARRARO Axles, offering 16° Front Axle Oscillation, 2WD/4WD functionality, Outboard Planetary Reduction, and a Rear Axle Differential Lock for enhanced performance and traction.
